🔥 Burn Pilot 🇩🇪
Hailing form Bielefeld, BURN PILOT, a powertrio that seemingly effortless bring us psychedelic punk designed to destroy since 2005! Make no mistake these guys excel at their craft and have created their own niche in the psychedelic music scene. Expect anything between spaced out jamming and punchy high voltage punkrock. Fundamentally instrumental with perfectly dosed vocals!
🔥 Cannabineros 🇩🇪
Hailing from Berlin, CANNABINEROS, a high energy duo, playfully put down elaborate jamscapes and heavy rock since 2018. Proving that you don’t need much more than drums and guitar to do it. Igor doubles his riffs over guitar and bass amplifier and sounds like a guitarist and bassist at the same time. Sash is a versatile funky rhythm machine and takes care of vocals using a wide range of effects. They serve a mighty fine cocktail of slightly doomy psychedelic, stoner, kraut and spacerock.
You might have seen them at festivals like Stoned From The Underground, Aquamaria, Race61, Rock Im Moor, Setalight, Rotormania, Berlin Swamp Fest, MellowJam, DoomFarm, Blue Moon, DustownFest or Spliff‘n’Riff.
🔥 The Dharma Chain 🇦🇺🇩🇪
Emerging from the beaches of Byron Bay, Australia, and now thriving in the heart of Berlin, THE DHARMA CHAIN is a 5-piece psychedelic force, pushing the limits of sonic exploration. Their Music is a hypnotic blend of reverb-soaked rhythm guitars, driving melodic leads, hip hop influenced percussive elements and industrial synthesizers all intertwined with harmonious male and female vocals.
Founded in 2020, The Dharma Chain have relentlessly shared their unique blend of shoegaze, 90’s garage and psychedelica sound with audiences around the globe. In late 2022 the ensemble made the bold relocation to Berlin, a transformation that ignited a new creative wave. Their live performance delivers a distinctive, unconventional approach with no singular Lead Vocalist. Members are seamlessly switching positions, creating a dynamic and ever-evolving stage presence. This collaborative ethos infuses their vocals with harmonious balance and an enchanting auditory tapestry.
Having shared the stage with renowned names such as Mildlife and Nice Biscuit, their appetite is set on larger stages and audiences. Dedication payed off when The Dharma Chain signed to Berlin-based Anomic Records, propelling a new trajectory and paving the way for an eagerly anticipated album in early 2024. The album showcases their sonic evolution, capturing the essence of a band unafraid to expand musical boundaries and redefine the psychedelic rock experience.
🔥 Heath 🇳🇱
A psychedelic storm rages over The Netherlands, and its name is HEATH. Their debut album “Isaak’s Marble” marks the beginning of a long story and opens the door to the world of Heath, where anything is possible. Odd time signatures, blazing harmonica, and driving guitars accompanied by narrative vocals create an enchanting journey. Heath is known for their energetic live shows, which together with carefully drawn out eclectic songs seamlessly blend into an atmosphere that is both hypnotic and liberating.
After the release of their first single in early 2023, 3voor12 Den Haag referred to the quintet as “a promise from The Hague”, and this promise was fulfilled later in the year when they received the Music Support Award from the Haagse Popweek. Music magazine Oor also called Heath “the flag-bearers of a rapidly growing psychedelic rock scene in the Netherlands”. Heath’s single ‘Atalantis’ won Song of the Year 2023 by 3voor12 Leiden. In 2024, Heath has already performed at the Pinguin/Sniester Showcases during ESNS and made quite the statement at the prestigious Roadburn Festival by playing not one, but two electrifying shows.
🔥 Temple Fang 🇳🇱
Hailing from Amsterdam, the Dutch quartet TEMPLE FANG has been steadily destroying stages and enchanting audiences since 2018 with their hard hitting yet elegant longform compositions, building an enormous reputation for themselves as a live band that always delivers and never repeats itself. Freak Valley, Roadburn, Desertfest, Sonic Blast, Palp, Krach am Bach, Sonic Whip and many more festivals were all brought under the spell of these Dutch psych wizards.
Essentially operating as a DIY collective, the band has been putting out records themselves with the help of their friends of Electric Spark, focusing mainly on live recordings, as the band considered themselves an alive and breathing organism not to be confined to ‘definite’ versions of their songs as they would appear on a studio record. The band’s 2021 release “Fang Temple” was approached as a hybrid of live and studio, with the band taking recordings of shows as a base to work off of in the studio, and was met by rave reviews by critics and fans, taking even the band by surprise. They took it one step further in 2022 with their Jerusalem/The Bridge EP, containing the first full studio recordings the band had ever done.
With new drummer Daan Wopereis joining the band in the summer of ’23, Temple Fang decided to take some time off the road to retool the band for a new chapter, one where new things would be possible, new ideas encouraged and old skin shed. And ultimately, to create a version of Temple Fang that would surpass anything they had dared to do before.
When legendary German label Stickman records approached them and offered them creative freedom, it was a no-brainer. A label that works with Motorpsycho, Elder, King Buffalo, Slomosa, Full Earth and fellow Dutchies Iron Jinn would certainly be the right family to join for this new chapter of the band. The band has been holed up in their Amsterdam bunker all year working on their Stickman debut, their first all-studio full length, only to occasionally leave it for small tours to road-test the new material and keep their gears oiled. In 2025 with a new album under their belt, the band will hit the road hard with a newfound fury and a commitment to really rock.
